First Doctor's Appointment

This afternoon we had our first appointment with Dr. Karen Ogryzlo (who delivered Isabelle). I love this appointment because it is the first opportunity for us to see our baby for the first time. I think I saw the heart flutter first. My doctor measured the fetus and by her estimate, I will be due June 18, 2010. I'm sure that will change as the pregnancy progresses. The heartbeat was 167.8bpm which was excellent. The next step is to make our appointment for the first trimester First Screen which looks for Downs Syndrome and Trisomy 18.
