Happy 13 months Isabelle! Today we went to the Oregon Zoo with Rachel and her son Ethan. It seemed like every school in the Portland Metro area was there. It was such a nice day, we decided to brave the crowd and try to see some of the animals. Luckily, we were able to get to some exhibits we usually don't have time to see during our visits. We were able to find a bench and feed our kids for lunch, however us moms didn't get to feed ourselves! Isabelle was very good during the trip to the zoo.
Isabelle's thirteen month update:
She is learning how to go down the stairs, she is talking very well (still no "big" words yet), enjoys bath time (we've introduced the baby sign for "bath" to her), loves swimming, walks everywhere, likes to explore and discover new things, still only has two teeth, loves eating (especially frozen blueberries), and plays very well with others and by herself. We've been showing her Ukrainian Power DVD's which she really likes (thanks uncle Roo). I hope by next month she may have a couple more teeth! :)
