Four weeks old

Today Isabelle is four weeks old. Time flies when you are sleep deprived, tired, and walking around like a zombie in pajamas at 4:00pm! This last week Isabelle has been in a really good routine and I hope it continues. She is nursing well, but we are going to have a "follow up" session with a lactation consultant tomorrow. I am still recovering and trying to take on more tasks each day. Damien and Vern are working hard to get the pond ready so our back yard is somewhat presentable for all the family arriving this week. On Wednesday, Damien's family arrives and finally get to meet Isabelle. My grandfather and his wife also arrive on Wednesday. He has three great-granddaughters to visit with. He hasn't met the twins yet, so he will spend time at Earle and Marla's, then come to our house for a visit. Finally, friends of the family, Barbara and Joe, are driving up from California to visit and attend Isabelle's baptism on Sunday. We are all very excited to see everyone. :)
