Today Isabelle had her two week appointment with Dr. Dahl. She weighed in at 9 pounds 7 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. She had her second PKU test, so they had to prick her heel. Since our departure from the hospital, Isabelle has had some drainage issues with her eyes. Dr. Dahl noticed it last week and it got worse between the two appointments. Before we left the doctor's office, Isabelle was given her first prescription for some erythromycin ointment for her eyes. Dr. Dahl also recommended we give her Tri-Vi-Sol (vitamins A,C, and D) drops. Other than her eye problem, she is doing well and still looks "perfect" according to Dr. Dahl (of course Damien and I agree).
