Eye Doctor

Today I took Isabelle to the eye doctor to have her right eye examined. The issue is that Isabelle doesn't open her right eye at the same time as the left. It only happens when she has been sleeping, crying, or when she has her face scrunched up. We visited Dr. Julie Yu at Child Eye Care Associates which is right around the corner from the pediatricians office. She was really nice and they did a thorough exam to make sure Isabelle is able to track objects. The doctor said her eye "sticking" is normal and she should grow out of it, but to follow up with her when Isabelle is six months old.

Later in the afternoon, Isabelle and I went to Laura McGraw's to pick up Isabelle's new born pictures we ordered. They look great, so tomorrow we are going to go frame shopping. On the way home, we visited Daddy at work. Isabelle played "pass the baby" with no fuss.

Tonight is night three of Isabelle sleeping in her crib. Last night, she did really well. She woke up about 2:30am for a feeding and then slept until about 5:30am and woke up for another feeding. She did her morning stretching and rolling around until about 6:30am. I think it is important we stay consistant with putting her to bed at the same time and have the same evening ritual.
