Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'.....

Isabelle is really starting to roll over now. Last week she only rolled over once or twice a day, but now she is rolling over three - five times a day. The best time for her to practice rolling over is early in the morning (6am or so). She will wake up and start moving around in her crib. This morning she started crying and Damien went to check on her and she was on her stomach, so he turned her over and came back to our room. Not more than two minutes later, she started crying again and I went to check on her and she was on her stomach again! The good news is, she doesn't complain as quickly about being on her stomach than she did a couple of weeks ago.

The other good news, Isabelle has been sleeping in her crib for about two weeks now. I decided from the first night she slept in the crib, we would be consistent with her bedtime routine. So far, she has done really well. There have only been a couple of nights where she woke up earlier than 5am for a feeding. For the most part, she will sleep from about 9pm to about 5am, feed, then go back to sleep for a couple more hours. Our evening routine is an infant massage, while listening to Daddy read a bedtime story, nurse, and either fall asleep in my arms or in the crib. Some nights we will give her a bath before the massage. I am very happy about how her bedtime routine is going. Now all I have to do is establish a good nap routine during the day.
