Damien, mom, and I decided to brave the crowds and go shopping with all the other crazy people. We first went to my favorite jewlery store Smith and Bevill because my wedding ring needed to be fixed. We looked around, talked with the store owner Bill Bevill (a family friend), and mom got her jewlery cleaned.
We then set off to Washington Square (not located in Washington state) to fight the crowds. The mall just opened a new wing with some fabulous new stores. Luckily we all were able to find gifts and wasn't a total waste of time. After we came home, we picked up Vern and headed to Costco to pick up a artificial tree only to find out they were all sold out (go figure!). Oh well! I guess Damien is going to have to suffer one more year of going to Sleighbells to chop down a tree.
