Mom and Vern got up early and went to Providence Milwaukie for Mom's foot surgery. Isabelle and I met up with my new MK Director and good friend Danielle James. We went to Sip and Kranz in the Pearl District for a practice interview with my friend Rachel who is interested in the business opportunity. We had a very productive meeting and Rachel and her husband had some really great questions. After Danielle left, I stayed and chatted some more with Rachel and her husband. It was nice to get out of the house even though it is FREEZING outside!
When we returned home, I received a call from Mom and they were on their way home from the hospital. Mom was in good spirits and the surgery went well. She is having trouble with the walker and she is hoping to get a roll-about.
Isabelle and Strider are getting along as you can see in the pictures. She has tried to pet him a couple of times. The only thing we have to watch out for is his tail.
