Yesterday we attended a luncheon hosted by the Klaus and Ellin Jaeger (Marla's parents) at the Hotel Lucia in downtown Portland. It gave family and close friends who were in town for the naming ceremony an opportunity to get together and visit one another. The event was catered by Typhoon! and the food was fantastic. Earle made more molten cake which was served for dessert. Yummy! :)
Before we went to the luncheon, Vern and Damien went to Home Depot and purchased equipment to move our old television downstairs. A couple of weeks ago we purchased a flat screen plasma television. After the luncheon, Damien and Vern were successful in getting the old television down the stairs and set up on the stand. Luckily, no one got hurt in the process! :)
Later that afternoon, Damien, Gwen and I started playing Mexican Train (a domino game). We had fun and took breaks between games and didn't stop playing until 11:00pm!
Today Gwen went over to stay at Earle and Marla's until Monday night, I rested on the couch reading my Parenting magazine, and Damien worked in the garage. What a busy weekend!
