Swimming and Park

I took Isabelle to the gym this morning to make up a class we missed a couple of weeks ago. Isabelle was on FIRE! She was kicking, moving her arms, and putting her face in the water all at the same time! She also greeted the other kids with a "hi" and a wave. She also said "bye" at one point. Midway through the class, Isabelle started saying "done" along with the sign. She was really cute during class. We will continue with swim lessons at the gym until September and then we will return (I hope) to Children of the Sea.

After Isabelle's nap this afternoon, Damien and I took her on a walk to the park. Daddy pushed Isabelle in the swing which she enjoyed. She is still not quite sure about the sand box yet, so we skipped that. Isabelle walked with us around the baseball/soccer field. She met some little Dachshunds, a kid on a bike which she wanted to start riding, and a couple of other kids eating blackberries. Isabelle would stop and take a drink of water, eat some crackers, or get her toys out of the basket. She then decided to run around the grass and plop her bottom down. It was funny, she would get up take a couple of steps, then plop on her bottom over and over again. When we came home, she played some more with Daddy outside. She is our little energizer bunny!

"It isn't a walk to the park without my fish and monkey!"
