It doesn't seem like we covered much in three hours. The activity and discussion around the childbirth choices took up most of the evening. The "choices" or "interventions" we covered were: Amniotomy, Pain Relief (systemic meds vs. epidurals), Induction with Pitocin, Fetal Monitoring (external vs. internal), Episiotomy, and Assisted Delivery (vacuum vs. forceps). It was a very informative evening. Next Sunday will be our last class, then we will be on our own to remember everything we've learned.
