Yesterday I went to my ultrasound appointment to get the baby's approximate weight, amniotic fluid level, and growth. The technician confirmed our baby is still a girl and said our doctor will call with the results.
A couple of hours later, Dr. Ogryzlo called and advised us our baby is big. According to the ultrasound results the weight estimate for the baby is between 9.5-11.5 lbs! After giving me the news and an evening to think about our delivery options and the risks involved, Damien and I decided it will be best if we deliver via cesarean section. We spoke with Dr. Ogryzlo again this morning about induction vs. cesarean and we decided to schedule the cesarean for Tuesday morning May 2nd to have the baby. We will still have one more visit with the doctor on Friday before the surgery on Tuesday. Now we know what to prepare for and when we will have the baby. :)
