The Hostess with the Mostess

Today Isabelle hosted her first play date at our house. We invited Laura and her daughter Ellie (almost 1 year) and Rachel and her son Ethan (5 1/2 months). Ethan arrived first and Rachel sat him on the floor and Isabelle crawled up to him and was so excited to see him. She was rocking back on all fours and doing her little squeal. Ellie arrived a little later and Isabelle followed Ellie (who can walk) all over the place. The day was filled with some firsts for Ethan and Isabelle. Ethan sat on the floor unassisted for several minutes. He also rolled over from back to front for the first time. Isabelle ate a real pear and banana for the first time. She liked both of them a lot. Everyone had a great time visiting and I hope we can host another play date soon.
